Responsibilities

Will report to Senior Legal Counsel in diverse portfolio of corporate secretarial and other corporate, commercial, compliance matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage all corporate secretarial matters.
• Liaise and coordinate with Senior Management, Shareholders and Directors in regard to all corporate secretarial matters.
• Draft and prepare resolutions and other relevant documents.
• Assist to arrange for Notary Public for notarization, authentication, and legalization of documents.
• Support business units in KYC when required
• Support of property and intellectual property matters
• Support review of contracts and legal documents including those related to marine construction, charterparties, trade (sales, purchase, rental), tenders, financing and collaboration agreements
• Rendering of legal advice for commercial application and compliance requirements
• Review/advise on litigation or potentially litigations cases including issuing internal legal notices of demand
• Any other duties under the Legal Department assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in law, LLB or similar legal qualification
• Preferably with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant PQE
• Experience with marine construction, tender and charterparties will be an advantage but not vital
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under short deadlines in fast-paced environment
• Responsible, meticulous, proactive, and organized
• Ability to work as part of team and independently
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills for commercial application

** Company’s transport pick up / drop off point at Clementi MRT station
