Accounts. Roles of migration process and auditor experience

Job Description

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance

Work with the vendor consultant and in each functional area, previous working experience with an external accountant is a plus.

Work with users to develop processes that will accommodate the new software application

Role involved the migration process.

Help to design and configure software parameters for each module

Identify process improvement opportunities within the new ERP solution

Hands on experience on month end and year end closing processes – AP, AR and GL and account reconciliation

Liaise with statutory auditors and assist with preparation of schedules required for audit.

Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Diploma/Degree or ACCA or equivalent

Must have previous system implementation or project management experience

IT savvy with good general knowledge of enterprise software space. Prior experience in using Xero, Quickbooks and/or SAP B1 will be a plus

Possess minimum 5 years of accounting experience preferably in an events / retail environment

Experience in doing full set of accounts and GST

Well organized and meticulous with an eye for detail. Ability to meet tight deadlines

 Able to work in a fast paced environment
