Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and operate industrial sewing machinery
• Cut material such as leather according to patterns
• Sew furniture / sofa using an Industrial Sewing Machine.
• Ensure that production procedures are carried on smoothly & efficiency
• Ensure of finished / final products meet customer specifications

Requirements

• Secondary education, or its equivalent
• 2 to 3 years of related sewing experience and/or training
• Working knowledge of industry sewing machine mechanics
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Prior experience with Furniture / Upholstery Sewing Machine or Heavy Duty Sling Sewing Machine (preferably)
• Regularly lifting and positioning of components / heavy stuffs
• Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards
• Good interpersonal skills with positive working attitude
• Teamwork and communication skills

Mondays to Fridays : 8:30 am to 5.30 pm, Saturdays : 8:30 am to 12 noon

** Company’s transport pick up / drop off point at Clementi MRT station
