Responsibilities

• Maintenance of barge / crane and all equipment on deck
• Proper manning of vessel
• Ensure safety of all crews
• Cover duty of Barge Master during his absence
• Operates floating crane to lift / move equipment, cargoes, anchor chain, slings etc.
• Inspect crane for any defective parts and inform the Barge Master
• Cleans and maintains crane

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, or its equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years working experience preferably in the Marine / Shipbuilding / Oil & Gas industry
• Possess a valid Crawler Crane License (MOM)
• Holder of a Lifting Supervisor certificate, Rigger & Signalman certificate & Shipyard Safety Instruction Course (SSIC) certificate
• Able to read and write and communicate in English
• Able to assist in crane barge mooring operation (Wakaei Maru No. 8 / Isamigo 3)
• Carry out maintenance on other employer barges
• Assist in survey when required

Mondays to Fridays : 8:30 am to 5.30 pm, Saturdays : 8:30 am to 12 noon

** Company’s transport pick up / drop off point at Clementi MRT station
