• Min Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in Marine Sales.
• Fresh entry candiates are welcomed to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SAP will be preferred
• Communication skills: Multiple languages

Direct Sales

• Under immediate supervisor guidance to independently handle assigned market segments.
• To carry out sales of products (Marine propulsion and auxiliary engine, marine diesel outboard engines, marine transmissions, generator set, thrusters, propellers and accessories) to shipyards and end users / owners.
• Able to select the right product for specific project requirements, knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering calculation is preferred.
• To coordinate with the Sales team on working towards department sales target and objectives including personal KPI
• Report business trip’s activities to immediate supervisor
• Provide the inputs / reports for monthly meeting
• Assist immediate supervisor in projects and marketing planning
• Preparation of sales quotation / contract
• Direct customers visit / contact and liaise / follow up with customers
• Perform all pre-sales, sales and post sales activities
• Attending to special assignment from time to time as directed by Sales Manager
• Liaising with product Principals and provide timely response with market update
• Be a hunter for new prospect customers and foster good relationship with existing account
• Traveling oversea is required and work independently

Sales Administration / Follow up

• Assist sales for walk-in customer / prospects
• Monitor sales contract / factory delivery / payment status
• Must be able to understand internal SOP for order processing

Marketing & Sales Support

• Increase social media presence from projects (E.g. Linkedin)
• Participate in exhibition as required.
