Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Inventory controls and purchasing of spare parts for research and development equipment
• Troubleshooting of equipment & coordinate with vendors on technical issues or problems for equipment.
• To give support to the Technical Support (Solution) Team & Sales & Marketing Department for any new project
• To make improvement of work quality and reduce equipment down time
• To provide adequate resource for proceeding each project in accordance with designated schedule.
• To determine objectives and targets for continual improvement and action plans for achieving these objectives
• To maintain long term research and development schedule and liaise closely with counterpart in HQ (Japan).
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO14001, and SS651.
• Supporting (Green House Gas) GHG audit and site verification by the Authorities and third Party
• Responsible for equipment owned by research and development department.
• Preparation of monthly report

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent
• A least 1 to 3 years of experience in plastics injection molding and experience of chemical analysis for plastics or chemicals
• Good knowledge in Polymer / Plastics will an additional plus point
• Good computer skills in Microsoft office (in particular Excel and Powerpoint)
• Previous exposure to Laboratory analysis equipment will be an advantage
