Responsibilities

• To perform routine analysis of polymer samples using injection moulding tool, melt indexer, heat distortion temperature tester, charpy tester, foreign matter scanning and colour measurement spectrophotometer.
• To ensure that tests assigned are performed in a timely manner in accordance with validated test protocols and procedures.
• Assist QC executives with non – routine study samples
• To perform instruments’ calibrations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• To perform housekeeping and maintain the cleanliness in the laboratory.
• Perform inventory check in the lab.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Chemical Engineering, Or GCE ‘A’ or ‘O’ level with credits in Science and Mathematics subjects or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in the Laboratory fields (chemical / pharmaceutical industry)
• Hands-on experience in operating laboratory equipment such as injection moulding, melt indexer, heat distortion temperature tester, charpy tester and spectrophotometer will be an added advantage.
• Team player, good integrity and willingness to learn
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
