Responsibilities
Accounts Payable include
- Supplier invoice matching, handling of petty cash & process payments such as electronic bank transfers
- Management of monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist in month-end closing and reporting
- Posting of accounts transactions into accounting system (ERP)
- To liaise with suppliers and handle their queries on invoices & payment
- To maintain proper documentation and filing
- Handle day to day accounting operations
Accounts Receivable include
- Responsible for the collection and prompt settlement of Invoices due from clients
- Liaise & communicate with clients on any Outstanding Accounts and follow up
- Resolve Invoicing issues with internal parties if necessary
- Ensure Statement of Accounts are generated and issued on time
- Perform Accounts Receivables ageing analysis review
- Perform reconciliation with both Internal and External parties on outstanding accounts
- Monitor all payments such as via Bank Transfer, Cheques deposit, Cash are promptly received
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Min LCCI / Diploma Accounting, or its equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in accounts payable/accounts receivables in Finance / Accounts department
- Good communication skills
- A team player with positive working attitude
- Ability to work within tight timelines
- Well-organized & meticulous with accuracy
- Good computer knowledge in Microsoft Office & ERP system
