Responsibilities

As the first point of contact with customers, to provide excellent service to customers, proactive and professional in handling enquiries and queries through various communication channels by customers, on product or service-related queries, troubleshooting and handling any complaints. Details as follow:-

• To provide customers with professional advice on product, service-related queries, complaints and feedbacks
• To work closely with the commercial team as a Lens expert providing advice to eye care practitioners and internal colleagues
• To work closely with the operations team (CEF : Cut, Edge and Fit) in ensuring product quality and service standards are maintained
• To handle incoming calls or inquiries from prospective / existing customers, and to provide troubleshooting support over the phone
• To resolve customer and/or consumers’ queries or complaints via various communication channels (such as phone, whatsapp, email, Facebook messenger) efficiently and effectively
• To support order entry that are placed by customers via phone, whatsapp or email
• To assist customer in checking of job status and update / follow-up accordingly
• To support the marketing and professional affairs team on administrative tasks required for campaigns, as and when required

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Optometry or NITEC in Opticianry, or its equivalent
• At least 3 to 5 years of optical retail or related work experience
• Strong technical knowledge and passion in Optics
• Detailed orientated, observant and high level of accuracy
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take on pressure and to handle difficult customers tactfully
• Excellent problem solving, communication & interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
