Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day activities
• Manage and execute project in cost effective, on time delivery with quality standards to meets client expectations;
• Planning, Scheduling and resource management for site activities
• Check drawings and quantities and ensure that the calculations are accurate for the project implementation;
• Liaise and assist in submission of all necessary permit, license to all relevant authorities for the project work;
• Attend meetings, correspondences and liaise with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers in resolving design and site problems encountered during the construction period
• To closely supervise work carried out by sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project schedule
• Carry out site in-progress inspection to ensure the works were executed to the required quality standard.
• Follow-up on the defective work and ensure timely rectification by contractors & relevant parties
• Ensure proper documentation of the project, such as record correspondence, as-built drawings, and etc
• Check on the progress claim submitted by the sub-contractors;
• To monitor and prepare report for the delivered materials compliance to project’s specification, codes of practices, BCA requirements & QA/QC policies.
• Raise technical queries such as RFI/RFC if necessary.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering /Construction Management/ Building or its equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in building construction industry
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and execute tasks effectively
• Organized, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
