Responsibilities

Reporting to the AVP Finance. Details as follows:-

 

Primary

• Responsible for Group’s cashflow management and Group’s cashflow projections
• Monitor and track all budget variances on a monthly basis, and implement corrective measures to minimise cash outflows
• To prepare cash flow update and group financial controller’s report to be presented at the quarterly board meeting.
• Assist the AVP Finance in the management and leadership of Group’s Finance Team
• Assist in providing strategy, developing policies and procedures to improve financial and operational processes
• To undertake ad-hoc assignments from time to time

 

Secondary

• Oversee financial reporting and provide financial analyses to support business decision-making
• Working with the Group’s Accountant to ensure the smooth and effective management of the accounting activities which include reviewing and streamlining the current processes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure efficient completion of the year-end audit process
• Assist in tax matters ensuring all tax filings are done on time
• Liaise with creditors and any other third party, as required
• Maintain good liaison with internal and external auditors and sponsors in order to ensure full compliance with accounting standards and listing rules

 

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy preferably with CA/ CPA qualification or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 to 8 years prior experience preferably in a SGX listed company and/or S-REIT in a similar role in a Real Estate company
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience working in a Big 4 audit firm will be an added advantage
• Preferably with experience in regional role and external audit
• Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Good enterprise spirit and acumen
• Highly motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting and familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards 
• IT savvy in Microsoft Words and Excel
• Independent, meticulous and good team player to lead a strong team
• Outgoing personality with an inquisitive mind

Location
The work will be carried out in Singapore but the responsibilities may extend to include assignments in other countries, like Malaysia.
