  • Job Duties

     

    Key Player of failure analysis (FA) department, supporting member of surface analysis.
    Assisted R&D process team and customer service engineering team to develop and certify a new product with improved performance according to customer expectation.
    Assisted R&D process team in their cost reduction programme.
    Supporting R&D process team in improving performance of a sample run by conducting FA and providing probable root cause behind poor performance samples.
    Working closely with customer service engineer to conduct FA on customer returned media.
    Conducting surface and qualitative analysis on media to understand the performance relatively to its roughness, lube and carbon thickness and its reliability performance.
    Presenting daily activities and previous shift FA findings to the engineers and team members.
    Communicating well throughout the shift between different parties (Requestors, engineers and team members) to understand if there are any new job requests, or change in FA priority.
    Fairly allocate and discuss FA activities between myself and team members to get job requests done based on the priorities set.
    Concluding FA Findings and releasing the data promptly.
    Providing FA directions about how a certain task is to be carried out.
    Perform safety check and coordination. Inspect and submit written reports on safety scheme.

    Conduct & coordinate fire & safety training course. Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, Safety Procedures/Check Lists, Safety Records and Documentation.

    Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering data bases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities.

    Specify critical components for design projects and is responsible for assuring designs meet all applicable codes and regulations.

    Safety Management of High purity gas and chemicals.

    Technical support to customer in case of quality matters.

    Gas Analysis.

    Qualifications

    1) Bachelors’ Degree in Chemical Engineering/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline or equivalent.

    2) Experienced in semiconductor industry or petrochemical plant environment will be preferred.

    3) Bilingual in English & Mandarin speaking.

    The candidate should be diligent, attentive to details and with good communication skills.

    Nationality: Singaporean

    Salary Range : ATTRACTIVE SALARY + ALLOWANCES

    5 days weekly, 8.30 to 5 pm, Based in Tuas.
