  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director (Corporate Planning & Services), this person will oversee and be responsible and accountable for the operations of the Office of Student Affairs. This will cover all aspects of student matters, including student admissions and withdrawal, management of students’ attendance, assessment and behaviour records, student visa applications, frontline services and ticketing services (e.g., internal ticket sales for teachers, students and parents). Details as follows:-

     

    Student Activities & Trips

    • Work with teaching faculty members to coordinate student activities and trips with schools, institutions and organisations
    • Assist in procurement of goods and services (air tickets, insurance, accommodation, concert tickets, etc.) for student activities and trips
    • Communicate with parents regarding payment, payment methods, consent forms and related matters
    • Perform necessary processes to fulfill governing requirements, e.g. registration with MOE and MFA

     

    Junior Academy (JA), Talent Academy (TA) & Art Discipline events

    • Work with schools, institutions, organisations and related parties on registration of JA, TA and art discipline events
    • Work with teaching faculty members to plan, manage and support registration and administration matters
    • Gather feedback and reports from relevant faculty members
    • Provide statistical reports and analyses to Management after each event

     

    Student Graduation

    • Ensure that the students’ academic information for graduation clearance are accurate and prepare testimonials, transcripts, reports and other related documents as required
    • Assist in planning and implementing the students’ graduation ceremony
    • Coordinate the preparation and printing of the students’ Singapore Graduation Certificate (SGC) in consultation with Vice-Principal (Academic)
    • Coordinate the invitation of parents to graduation ceremony

     

    Alumni Matters

    • Work with Student Development team to capture school graduates' data and track their achievements, articulation pathways, progress and movements
    • Maintain contact with the alumni through communication platforms, such as newsletters and invitations to school events

     

    Resource & Database Management

    • Supervise the maintenance of data and its accuracy in the Student Management System
    • Prepare admission reports and related analyses periodically for Management
    • Supervise and manage student records maintenance (academic, conduct and portfolios, etc.)

     

    Others

    • Propose and manage annual budget for the Office of Student Affairs
    • Adhere to budget allocated and submit periodic activity reports and analyses on accomplishments, goals and objectives
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, Director (Corporate Planning & Services), Vice-Principals and Principal

     

    Requirements

    • Degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications from recognised university
    • Min 5 years of relevant experience in supervision and management of student affairs matter
    • Dynamic, independent, hands-on and equipped with good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressure
