  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Principal/ CEO, the Personal Assistant (PA) will provide a strictly private and confidential PA role to the Principal/ CEO of the School. The PA will manage his/her workload, assist him/her in his/her tasks on hand and act as a gatekeeper to him/her. Details as follows:-


    • To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to the Principal/ CEO.
    • To develop, maintain and review administration systems and databases to achieve maximum efficiency.
    • To maintain and organize the diaries of School Leaders (i.e. Principal/ CEO, Vice-Principals and Director), filing system and all other relevant areas as necessary.
    • To support the Principal/ CEO in her projects, proposals, etc. through research, consultation, and office management.  
    • To draft speeches, briefings, and presentation materials as requested by the Principal/ CEO.
    • To professionally represent the organization at school activities, networking events, etc.
    • To facilitate meetings, schedule debriefing meetings so that follow-up actions can be implemented. Also to arrange for refreshments and seating and to take minutes.
    • To co-ordinate School Management, School Board and Ministry meetings.
    • To respond to Board member, Ministry and other stakeholders’ queries in a timely and professional manner, both orally and in writing.
    • To coordinate all senior management travel arrangements.
    • To compile proposal papers, reports, KPI reporting, etc. and ensure they are sent in good time for meetings. To circulate reports, minutes and agendas for School Board, Sub-committees and Ministry meetings. To liaise with the Ministry representatives, Chairman and other School Board Members on various matters as required.
    • To maintain and continuously keep up to date all mailing lists.
    • Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.



    • Min Diploma/Degree holders
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience with clear understanding of confidentiality
    • Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to pay high attention to detail to ensure that high quality work is delivered
    • Ability to liaise positively and professionally with colleagues and visitors
    • Ability to work in a flexible manner – out of office hours, if required
    • Ability to communicate at all levels
    • Good organization skills & excellent written English (for letter correspondence, minutes of meetings, etc.)
    • Strong IT Skills, including use of ICT packages such as Microsoft Office
    • Independent, hands-on and equipped with strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality


    Salary: Negotiable depending on qualifications & experience


    Working Hours – 8.30 am to 6.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
