    Our client is looking to fill the following position.

  • Main Duties:
    • Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s Standard Operating Procedures drink recipes
    • Clean designated areas in accordance with company procedures, pre-determined routines and hygiene requirements.
    • Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
    • Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
    • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
    • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
    • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Restaurant Manager.
    • Contribute drink recipes when required.
    • Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
    • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
    • Supervise the service operations during meal periods and fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
    • Ensure staff perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. (to perform this duty as well)
    • Ensure staff maintain clean, adequately stocked with replacement cutlery and any other necessities in the service areas and counters. (to perform this duty as well)
    • • Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
    • Familiar with the composition of all menu items
    • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
    • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant / cafe functions and services.
    • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar, in accordance with company standards in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
    • Serve food and beverages to guest in accordance with company standards in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
    • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
    • Clear tables in a timely yet efficient way without unduly disturbing customers.
    • Process payment from ensuring accurate charging to taking payment from customers.
    • Fully understand and comply with all relevant government regulations that pertain to health, safety and labour requirements of the restaurant / cafe, employees and guests.
    • Perform on-going and on-the-job training to the staff
    • Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional.
    • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
